One day event for NHS organisations - 20 May 2008

The UK Policy Governance Association is planning to hold a one day event exploring the practical application of the Carver Policy Governance model in building high performing NHS boards. Policy Governance is, essentially, an 'operating system' for boards that can make good governance come to life. The system can take account of 'traditional' governance approaches, such as 'integrated governance' and the Monitor Governance Code for NHS foundation trusts, leaving your board free to get on with the job of governing the organisation.

Speakers at this event include John Bruce, Chair, Southend University Hospital NHS foundation trust, Caroline Oliver, CEO, Good to Govern Ltd., and Stuart Emslie, CEO, UK Policy Governance Association and former Department of Health head of controls assurance for the NHS in England.
