Advanced Governing Excellence

Caroline Oliver, co-author of The Policy Governance Fieldbook and Corporate Boards that Create Value , will be running a one day workshop on Policy Governance, an advanced system for governing excellence, in Central London on Thursday 28 September 2006 .

Included in the workshop fee is one hour of personal tuition (via e-mail and/or telephone) from Caroline on any aspect of applying Policy Governance with your board.

Developed originally for non-profit organisations by Dr John Carver in the USA , Policy Governance is the most widely adopted approach to board governance in both non-profit and corporate sectors internationally. The Policy Governance system was first outlined in John Carver’s seminal book Boards that Make a Difference, which is now in its 3rd edition and has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide.

Enrol for Caroline’s one day workshop and tuition and find out why so many boards believe that their unique contribution to organisational success and safety is efficiently and effectively achieved through adoption of the Policy Governance approach.

For those keen to undertake the advanced Policy Governance Academy , this workshop also represents an important opportunity to prepare for the next UK Academy run by John and Miriam Carver to be held in London , 26-30 March 2007.  Download a brochure for this event below.
